Israel's Privacy Protection Law applies to small businesses too. When you send messages or store phone numbers in a CRM, you need a legal basis — usually consent or an existing business relationship.
On WhatsApp: proactive messages to people who never contacted you need clear consent. Inside an existing chat you can reply. Always offer STOP / opt-out.
In automation: don't send prices or commitments without human approval, don't keep more than you need, and name providers (Twilio, Cloudflare, Meta) in the privacy policy.
I'm not a lawyer — this is a practical overview. For sensitive cases, get advice. My site has an updated privacy policy, and I apply the same principles for clients. You can start from Business automation.
